Quintic Ball Roll Software Upgrades:
Current Accredited QBR Putting Centres will receive all software upgrades for their Quintic Ball Roll System free of charge.
We are always completing research to further our understanding of the science behind the interaction of the club and ball at impact and how these affect the ball’s path/spin. From this we are continually adding new parameters to the System. For instance, through research at 50,000fps we have been able to understand the importance of toe/heel strikes and its relationship with the ball’s start direction. For example, this year, from this research we included the clubface twist parameter (strongly correlated with off-centre strikes) to the software. We have also made changes to the ‘summary page’ to help with the interpretation of ‘cause and effect’ between parameters together with the importance of looking at the range of the data before the average.
Technical Support Through-out the Year:
All Accredited Quintic Ball Roll Putting Centres and Certified Instructors will have access to technical support. This includes our online ‘Go To Meeting facility’ which enables us to answer any technical questions, by viewing your computer screen remotely, and to also answer any questions you may have on the interpretation and understanding of the numbers.
Further Quintic Accreditation Days:
Accredited Quintic Ball Roll Putting Centres, upon renewal of their accreditation, are entitled to send one of their instructors on a Quintic Ball Roll Accreditation Day free of charge, during the calendar year.
The content of the Accreditation Days are continually updated, with continued research of the key parameters of the putt. We therefore recommend instructors attend a Quintic Ball Roll Accreditation Day each year – to learn about new developments and to reinforce previous learning. Instructors who attend the Accreditation Day receive a current Quintic Certified Instructor certificate.
