  • Aquatics GB have recently started using Quintic to further understand the kinematics of elite diving performance. Currently used at competitions Quintic gives us the opportunity to analyse world quality competition video and gain insight into the joint angles, trajectories, angle velocities and accelerations that enable elite divers to perform at the highest level.

The software has a user-friendly interface and is easy to use. The ability to use a single calibration video to calibrate multiple videos and the facility to move the origin was an element of the software that we found hugely useful. The data and insights gained through using Quintic will further inform AquaticsGB Diving performance and contribute to the ongoing development of the sport.

  • At the University of Chichester we have been users of Quintic Biomechanics for over 12 years. From the inception of this product we have seen excellent developments in both qualitative and quantitative analysis procedures. We use Quintic with all our undergraduate students as we have a site license for the software. We are glad to aid Quintic with development of their product and in addition fully endorse its user friendly interface for teaching, and its specialist options of ball spin/roll, and 3D versions that we use in our research and consultancy roles. In my mind it is the all-round best value product available for specialist sporting video based motion analysis.

  • “I purchased the Quintic high-speed USB3 camera and biomechanics software to help me with my PhD which involves analysing the movement of horse riders. Due to the high number of subjects involved and the number of parameters being measured throughout the project, the camera and software I was initially using was not up to the task. The Quintic system with their specially designed camera reduces set-up and calibration time significantly. The video quality is far superior to the previous system I was using, making the analysis and extraction of data far easier and less time consuming. Additional features such as auto tracking and calibration will make a huge difference to data collection and will save me from hours of repetitive work. Quintic themselves have been extremely helpful during the purchase of their equipment and helped me select the appropriate hardware for my needs. The training they provide was very thorough and they have always been extremely quick to reply to any queries. I am very grateful for all their help.”

  • “At FA Kleinhans Orthotics we use Quintic Biomechanics daily with our patients. With the help of 4 Quintic high-speed cameras, led lights and infra red lights. It is a great platform to use to determine the exact amount of support a patient needs to recover from a variety of biomechanical and foot problems. It also helps us to assist the physiotherapists that work with us, with detailed reports so the patients can get the best possible help and care during their recovery. Using Quintic Biomechanics we have been able to assist Paralympic athlete Louzanne Coetzee, Olympic Record holder Wayde van Niekerk and American athlete Curtis Mitchell in enhancing their performance. We have also been able to assist various players on both the Cheetah and Springbok Rugby Union teams to enhance their performance.”
