Optical Calculator

Do you need to calculate the correct focal distance for your application… please use this handy tool that performs this task effortlessly with an app called ‘lensSENSOR’ developed by Stemmer Imaging.

‘lensSENSOR’ allows the specification of two of the three parameters, focal length, object distance and object size, and in each case the third value is then calculated. Sensor resolution and pixel size can also be used to perform the calculation. The exact data rate can also be determined by using the frame rate and the bits per pixel. The app also presents a list that shows the maximum possible data rate when using different camera interfaces such as GigE and USB2, USB3, etc.

You can download this app from the Apple AppStore. Use this QR code to take you straight there.
