Equine Biomechanics
Centaur Biomechanics has been using Quintic Biomechanics 2D camera system for over ten years in both a research application and during our rider biomechanics sessions. Having carried out many research projects focusing on horse-saddle-rider interaction, Quintic has been used to objectively evaluate horse locomotion and rider mechanics providing us with objective evidence on the differences in the equine locomotor system and rider position between various interventions. Quintic is a key component in all of our studies largely owing to its in the field application, robustness and it automation in data processing.
